{ New Keepsake Box }

 Here is a keepsake box I did using a box I purchased for $1 at Target and this is what I cam up with. I covered the box with Prima and I used the antique MOD PODGE and added some lace. paper flowers and some trim around the edges and I also added a butterfly. I painted the wooden knobs for the legs on the bottom.I used a string of small pearls on top to add some dimension. The color of the box was a bright pink with poka dots on it before I altered it.
 This is just a peek of what I am creating in between the yard work being done. I hope to get started in a day or 2 so wish me luck!

Thanks again for visiting and enjoy your week!

  2. Joe, this sure was a "trash to treasure" kind of project...I can't even imagine a pink polka dot box now. You have done a lovely job altering this and I love all the added detail on the inside, too. Fantabulous!!
