{ A Sad Time }

 Yesterday was a sad day for us; we had to make one of the hardest decision ever. We had to have my oldest dog put down and her name was Lulu. Here are couple of photos of her in her younger years and one with Dolly who is no longer with us either. This is my oldest dog Lulu she is over 18 years old and is no longer able to stand up and it's hard for her to walk without falling and falling. Her back legs could no long hold her up. The last week or so it was getting worse but she tried so hard to keep going and the last 3 days was the hardest because we had to help her up every time she fell.

 She had a good and long life with us and this is the last of the group the old gals I called them. It was Chula she was 17 1/2 Dolly was almost 19 when we had to put them down. I know they are waiting in heaven for Lulu and they will all be together in a happy place!  My Mom and myself took her and both cried as we sad our good byes to her and letting her know we all love her and that this was the best way for her not to suffer and struggle any more. As my vet gave her the medication to relax her she was out in like 20 seconds because she was so thin and frail it affected her faster. I held her wrapped in her blanket and me and my Mom sat with her holding for a while trying not to cry and we talked to her and told her will never forget her and we love her. Then my vet gave her the finale injection and she left us peacefully in a deep sleep. She went quietly in my arms like a baby!

We are having her cremated and I am going to make her a very special container to store her ashes. I wanted to make her something special made with love. I will have to make it before next week when we have to go pick up her ashes.

 Now she can be happy and run and play in a better palace and I hope she thinks of us and never forgets that we loved her with all of our hearts! We will miss you my Lulu and we will always love you and you will be in our hearts forever!
 We love you Lulu your family Xoxo

Here is the last photo I took of her last ride in the car.

 I want to thank everyone for all the kind condolences on my FB and texts sent to me I really appriciate them and I also want to thank a friend for sending me this wonderful poem and I want to share it with you.

Rainbow Bridge

 Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

 When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

{ Lolas update }

 Today Lola came home from a over night stay at our vet. We had her fixed and also had the chip put in her incase she ever gets out. It was just in time our vet said because Lola was just going into heat! I know this is better for her now that she is young and much healthier for her. She is doing great I have to keep her calm and not let her run around for a few days until her surgery heals. Its going to be a challenge because she is full of energy and our vet gave me sothing to relax her for the first few days. She was so hapy to see me and enjoyed the ride hom with me in the back seat. She was hungry and I put here new surgery collar on and gave her the medication and she fell fast asleep! I took just a caople of photos to shar with you. I will keep you posted along the way on how she does. Im going to be busy the next couple of weeks so I will try to post when I can.

I can not wait until Sunday for the next party and I will have to think of another card to create.

 I am going to be busy this coming week because I am taking my pupy Lola to the vet in the morning to have her fixed! I am so nervouse to take her but it is the best fo her in the long run. I fell bad that I have to put her through this and I am going to be so worried about her because she will have to stay over night at the vets because females have to be watched closeer because of the swelling they have after the surgery. My prro lille girl but she is now 6 months and I cant wait any longer. I will post a couple of photos of her when she comes home and I will have to stay home and not leaver her alone. { Memory Frame }

 Here is a simple memory frame I did for my Mom of my Uncle who passed away about 20 years ago. Its my Moms younger brother and I have wanted to ake this for her but I just never got around to actully do it. I had made 3 other different ones for my 2 cousins and my Aunt as a gift. I finally did it and my Mom loved it. Its a simple but nice memory of him and as you can see he loved guns and the old west. He belonged to a gun club and every year they would head out to go camping in thier motor home for a weekend event and they all had to dress the part. My cousin did the same and they would join my Uncle and Aunt. He loved it so much and they both were collectors of antiques and old west items. I still might add a few more western embelishments to the frame later on.

 Oh I have some exciting news about me and what me and Sal started to about 2 weeks ago. I started a weight loss program to get healthy and I have lost 6 pounds since I started it!! WOO WHOO ! It really has me so excited and all I am doing in counting my calories and it works! Its not really that hard but at first I found it to be. We purchesd a food scale and most of the eating places we go have a nutrition guide so it makes it really easy for us.   I will keep you all up to date on how I do and Its really a acomplishment for me because I have been saying that I need to do this and Sal has been very supportive and is doing it with me! I just wanted to share this with you and it also has us walking the dogs like atleast 3 times a week and they love it!

Looks like we have rain on the way here next week in Cali and I cant wait!

Have a great week everyone and thanks again for visiting!
