Happy Saturday everyone! Here is the Kraft Tinkerbell card I did for my cousins daughters 5th birthday. Here is a surprise 7Gypsie 6x6 printers tray I made for my little cousin with one of his favorite photos of him and his Dad. I had not been able to find this photo he had given to me me a while back and I just found it going through all my stuff here in my studio. It was with a bunch of to make projects and it got lost in all the papers. I'm so glad I found it and I will give it to him tomorrow when they come to visit from Sandiego. He wanted something to put in his room of him and his dad. Cant wait until he sees it!

Here is a photo I took this morning of one of my Grandmas plants she had here at my house and It such a beautiful red I thought I would share with you. When I saw it today it put a smile on my face because I remembered how much my Grandma loved her garden and all of her flowers. She left us a little reminder that she is still with us in many ways. It made me think of her when I saw it!
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks again for visiting !
Here is what on my desk that I am working on. I have a couple of cards to make this weekend and I hope to get them done by Sunday! I have been busy with a couple of other projects I have started and soon as I have a chance I will share a photo. You guessed it I'm using Tinker Bell again lol !
Today was the official day we no longer own my Grandparents house any more. The house belongs to the new owners and it was hard for my Mom and I could see the sadness in her today, but like she said the house may not be ours but the memories will always be in our hearts! We will miss that old house and no we can move on because that's what my Grandparents would want us to do.
Amy had a little set back yesterday so off to the vet we went AGAIN... but all is looking good and she is doing great today. She is having tummy discomfort again but I did not want to take a chance so I took her and they gave a stronger antacid because her tummy will always be delicate from all the antibiotics she was on and medication. If it persists or get worse we are going to have to run more test to see if it not anything more like an ulcer or pancreatic . So I am hoping for the best so keep your fingers crossed again! She is running around and back to herself and that's a good sign and she has no pain or a temperature at all. Ill keep you up to date and thank you for all your kind words about my Amy!
Have a wonderful Friday and thanks again for visiting!
Here is a photo I found in front of my Grandparents house that was the last photo they had taken with both my Grandparents. I'm not sure when it was taken, I think it was around 98 or 99. I just wanted to share this with you and I will always cherish the memories.
Here is another photo I found of the house around the late 70`s. I had to share with you.
Her is what it looked like now. Just before we sold it in 2012
Just wanted to share a little bit of my wonderful memories of this old house. Enjoy your Tuesday!
Its a beautiful Sunday morning and I finally finished the mini banner yesterday. I am going to give this to the baby that I made the Tinker Bell shadow Box. They will pick it up sometime tomorrow. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!
Today was the last time we went to see my Grandparents house. They finaly signed the final papers on Friday. The house is SOLD and is no longer ours. So today we went to say goodbye to the old house and it was really hard to have the last walk through and we took a last photo of my Mom and her brother and sister for the last time. It was sad to see it go but it will always be our home and all the wonderful memories will last in our hearts forever. This house is filled with love, so we all took a moment to say goodbye as we closed and locked the front door for the last time... :(
Here is a peek of what I was making today. I am making this as a gift for the little girl on the Tinker Bell shadow box I had finished yesterday. I thought I would make this as a surprise banner for the little girl. I will post a photo tomorrow soon as I have a chance.
Happy Friday everyone, and thanks again for visiting!
Here is the project I was working on at the beginning of the week. Its done ! This is a special order for a friend of my Aunts. Its for a birthday gift next week. Its a Tinker Bell page with the little girl and she is 1 and I used stuff from my Disney stash. I love to add sparkle use stickles! I hope they will like it. I have to get started on 3 more projects for them for next month. I'm glad I have time and I have everything I need already so I will get them done hopefully next week.
Have a wonderful day today, and thanks again for visiting!
Today was a beautiful day here in Cali, so I decided to get my Cricut out and have some Disney fun. I have to make a project for a order I took and it has to be Tinkerbell themed. So I am going threw all my Disney stuff and I have TONS of it and trying to see what I will come up. Here is what my work area started out looking this morning after a late breakfast. Lets see how it will end up looking while I work on this project. I will post a photo soon as I am done with it.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and thanks again for visiting!
My Grandmothers House finally SOLD. It is a house full of wonderful memories and a house that is full of love because my Grandparents made it a home filled with love and happiness! I spent so much time at this wonderful house running and playing and I loved to spend the night at Grandmas when the weekend was here. I loved waking up to the smell of Grandma cooking us breakfast, when we would stay the night. You could smell bacon, eggs and ham and she always made us hash browns. Some times she would make us home made tortillas. I can still smell the fresh coffee brewing throughout the house and I remember hearing her whistling this happy tune as she was making us breakfast! I have so many memories of this big old house and I was so lucky to grow up in this wonderful place with amazing Grandparents! They purchased in 1953 for just $ 7,000.00 that was a lot back then and they filled it with love and now that they are no longer with us but they left us so many happy memories in the house. Now this is it, 2012 will be the last time we walk through the front doors and say good bye for the last time.
Here is a layout I had done a while back and I wanted to share with you and my Mom wanted me to put it on display in the house. I am going to create something with all the photos we took of the house before and after it was sold. I will keep you updated soon as I complete it.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for visiting!
Here is the project I finished up last night. Its going to be a gift for my cousins daughter who was really heart broken when she found out that her their dog Betty passed away last week. I made this for her so she would have this as a memory of Betty and I placed her dog collar in the shadow box as a keepsake. It is going to be a surprise to her and I cant wait until she sees it! I hope she will cherish this and keep Betty's memory always in here heart.
We will all miss Betty!
Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks again for visiting!
Today I spent the whole afternoon with my friend Toni just having a crafty day. We try to have a least 1 or 2 days a week of just crafting and having fun. What usually happens is we end up shopping for scrapbooking supplies and other crafty items instead of actually creating projects. LOL This is what was on my work area and on my friend Toni's work space too. I will have a photo of what I did for my cousin tomorrow. It really came out nice. I hope they will like it. I really enjoy spending time with my friend Toni we love to scrapbook and just have fun hanging out together.
It looks like we are getting more rain tomorrow and I love the rain because it get my craftiness going. I love to hear the sound of the rain when I open the windows and open all the blinds and just look outside. Its a perfect day to stay inside to scrapbook or crate anything crafty.
Have a wonderful Friday and thanks again for visiting !
It was a sad day for me because I just found out the other day that one of my cousins dogs past away suddenly last week. Her name was Betty. She was a Great Dane. They had only had her I think a couple of years and she was the sweetest dog every! She was a beautiful dog and she just loved everyone. I am going to miss her and her family is taking it really hard. They don't know exactly what happened at the emergency where they took her, she had passed away. They had revived her but there was nothing they could do. They did all kinds of tests to see what it was and I think it was her heart she must have had a heart condition of some kind. They just cant believe it and neither can I. Here is a photo of her I had taken a while back and I'm glad I have a few photos of her. We will miss her and I know she is in a better place now.
Today I did some last minute shopping for our Easter dinner with my friend Toni. I also made Easter baskets for Sal`s Nieces and nephew for tomorrow. I had fun making them because every year they just love them! The best part is the egg hunt they do every year at the park. Every year I buy them different baskets for them and fill them with healthy stuff and a little candy and they get a little xtra something too. ( Money). They get so excited and I love to see them run around in their Easter outfits. We love to give them healthy treats but sometimes I cant help it and they get more sweets than the healthy stuff! lol I cant wait until tomorrow when they receive them and this year we are spending a quite time at home with some family and Moms home cooking. I might get a little crafting in but we will see about that. lol
OK here is the project I did for my friend. I did this on a 12x12 acrylic sheet and I used My minds Eye Be Happy line and some prima with Kaiser Kraft die cuts. This is a photo of myself and Sal and My Neighbor Marina at her 50th Birthday party. I want to give this to her as a reminder of her special day and she is an amazing friend. I hope she likes it and I want to surprise her this weekend.
Yesterday I was helping my Aunt move into her new place. And it was on the second floor so here are the stairs we had to go up and down all afternoon! All I can say is I am so lazy and my legs are killing me because I am not use to going up and down stairs. It was great exercise and I am glad I was able to help out. So I am spending the day relaxing with my friend Toni and we are going to have lunch and just having a easy day, no crazy shopping but we are going to have a crafty day tomorrow!
Here is what is on my work space this afternoon. I have a project I am working on for a gift for one of my best friends. I want to surprise her this week and she has no idea I am making this for her. I am using some My Minds Eye and Prima of course. I will post a photo soon as I am done. I am excited because tonight we are going to the movies in up town Whittier with one of my crafty friends its going to be a fun night I think we r going to see the new Julia Roberts movie but that could change. Ill let you know tomorrow what movie we watched. Tomorrow is also going to be a busy day for me cause we are helping my Aunt move to her new place in Whittier. Its going to be a quick move because they have been moving stuff since the weekend. Its just the big stuff in the morning so I should be home early to have time to get my craftiness on! lolP
Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for visiting!
Today is a beautiful Sunny day! I wanted to share a photo of a beautiful rose that has bloomed today and its from my Grandmothers rose bush her sister gave to us when my Grandma passes away. Its called the sister rose and she gave it to us in memory of her. My Grandma loved her flowers and her garden that she would tend to every morning while she was still able too. She would love to start new plants from cutting she would get from her friends and neighbors all the time. We Cherish this rose bush because It makes me happy to see the roses and it makes me feel like she is sending me a beautiful smile with each rose and letting us know she is still waiting over us. She has been gone over 2 years now and we miss her each and everyday and there is not a minute in the day that I don't think of her and all the wonderful memories I have with her. I am so thankful to have had such a wonderful Grandmother who loved me as much as I love her! I miss her so much!
Today I went outside with Amy and her sister Lucy and they just love sitting in the warm sun. It is a beautiful day for them to be outside and as you can see Amy is doing great! Tomorrow is a follow up with her vet to see how she is coming along. Paco has a follow up also so wish us luck.
