{ Late night being crafty }

 Its almost 3 AM  and I'm still up working on the invites for the surprise B-day party! It seems that I get more creative late night and once I start I just keep going and going...lol I wanted to give you another peek of what I am working on and a look at the mess on my work space. It looks like I'm going to be busy all day tomorrow and its going to be another heat wave headed our way!  So it will be a perfect day to stay in and craft with the AC on! 

We did go see the new baby last night so I guess that`s why I got a second wind tonight and up late being crafty. I will share a few photos of baby Andrew soon as I down load them. He is only 5 days old and is such a cutie!

{ Mess on my desk }

  Today is a busy day here in my craft room. I have been busy making the invites for a 16th surprise B-day party for a friends niece. Its going to be next month and its them is" Paris" I am using pink white n black with poka dots and some cool vintage looking stamps from Tim Holtz and inkadinkado. I will post a photo of the invite soon as I am done. I have about 50 to make which is not that many to make as I have in the past. I know the B-day girl will love them because her Mom and Aunt did! I have also started to get ideas for the next blog hop I'm going to be in and I have a blinkie up on my blog in the upper right side. Its going to be a Christmas themed and going to be lots of fun! Just pooped in for a quick post today and I love the weather we have had here in Cali, just perfect not hot at all but we are in for another heat weave by the end of the week! YIKES!!

 I almost forgot. I wanted to share this really cool mini scoreboard I purchased the other day at my local craft store its from Martha Stewart and like her big scoring board but smaller so u can do quick little cards and rosetts without having to pull out the big one. How cool is that! The cool thing is you can just put in a small bag a take it with you its only 7 1/2 X 9 1/2. Its perfect for taking along to crops. A real space saver I think.

{ New Member of the Family }

 I have some exciting new!! Yesterday a new little angel was sent to us, Sal`s sister had her baby! . We have a new nephew! Andrew S Bernal was born at 8:08 AM and we are so happy to have in our family! We went to go see him for the first time yesterday and we took him his first Winnie the pooh and a huge arrangement of roses at the hospital. Mom is doing great and we got to spend time with him and is big sister and brother were so happy to finally meet him! We can not wait to spoil him and we are both Tio`s (Uncles) to him. He is such a handsome boy and he is healthy and a blessing to all of us! I want to congratulate his parents and wish them all the happiness with their new baby!

 And of course his Tio had to make him 2 new welcome cards from him! LOL I made them right before we went to go see him. I think I finished them in a record time 14 minutes!!

I used a simple clip board and Graphic 45 paper and Jo lee`s steam punk owl stickers and a die-cut tree I sprayed with glimmermist and some Tim Holtz metal gears.Added some bling and ribbon.

{ Finally finished Hop projects }

 Today I finally finished my projects for the blog hop I am participating in this weekend! { Angel in Heaven }

 Today 13 year ago heaven received another angel. My Dad passed away on this day and we miss him so very much. I had a battle with prostate cancer which he fought for 4 years before God called him to heaven. I know he is still here with us watching us I just wish I could talk to him and ask him for advice when I need it.I do have so many wonderful memories and I was a  lucky to have him as my father and I could have not asked anyone else cause he was a good man and a wonderful husband to my Mom which she misses him all the time.Most of all he was and is the best Dad ever! I know some day I will see him again but until then I will cherish the memories of him and he Will always be in my heart!

Love you Dad!

The Gift

{ I won some goodies }

 I found out last night that I was a winner from a birthday hop I participated on the 10th. It was the Sunshine honeybee blog! I was so excited to here this. Its my 2nd hop I have won. I never win but I guess I got lucky this time. Melissa e-mailed me today and said my candy was in the mail so I should be getting it next week. I will share a photo with you soon as I get it.

 It is another hot day here in Cali and its going to be a hot one tomorrow. I still worked in the yard today and watered the grass in the AM and did a Lowes run this morning.  lol... I am  potting up 3 new hanging baskets for the patio and yard But I'm dying in this heat!

{ On My desk Today }

 Yesterday I did a little scrapbook shopping for supplies for invitations. I was asked to make for a sweet 16th birthday and the colors are pink,black and white and Kraft. I really like the color combo along with the theme. It is going to be a surprise party and they wanted a Paris them on Kraft paper. so I don't have much time its a last minute party. So I found what I needed and I am going to start on them this week. I am also in another blog hop next week its my friend Heathers 2nd hop and I cannot wait! It will be the 22nd and 23rd which is next week and I have not started on my project yet!!

 I have been so busy here with my yard and taking my Mom to her Dr apt for her pre surgery and we finally have a date. I am so happy for her because she is in a lot of discomfort and she will have relief from her knee! My Aunt is still in the hospital and is very ill. she has been in 12 days now and this is all do to complications from gallstones! It has been a night mare and she has a bad infection from not being able to see a specialist because they were booked! So now we have been going to see her and they are trying find out why she can not eat anything and the infection is not getting better and she is on so many medication and she is now waiting to see what her MRI results are and she might have to have a 3rd procedure done.

 I am so busy here and I have a huge order of invitations and my hop project to create. Soon as I can I will post a photo of my project and invite. I also what to take a few photos of my yard soon as I can. It has been so darn hot here in Cali to top it off! I love the summer but itss been way to hot here, thank goodness for AC ! Lol

{ B-day cards }

 Here are 2 Birthday cards I did for my cousins 9 year old. His name is Ethan but we all him E. ,He is into base ball big time! He has been in little league since he was in Kindergarten. So I made a couple of cards, 1 from his Grandma and one from us. His birthday is on Saturday and I made them really quick late last night. I did them in about 15 min! That is a record for me !! LOL  I hope he likes them.

 Its been really hectic again here yard  is almost complete and my Mom finally goes to see the surgeon to see when she will have it done. And my Aunt is in the hospital with complications from gallstones! She really got sick and they could not get into see the specialist soon enough so that's when she ended up in the ER over the weekend. She is doing better now they had to do a procedure today but they have to wait a couple of weeks to actually remove the gallbladder cause of all the complications. She is in no more pain and tomorrow the Dr will see when she can come home for now.

and the day before we lost our power the whole day! From 2:55 AM until 7:00 PM !! It was a really bad day for us with everything going on. I'm glad its all over with and today was a good day!
Sorry for not posting much lately but its been crazy around here and the LA county fair started and I am hoping we can make it before its over in a few weeks!

{ Long Weekend }

 Its been a busy weekend and we had amazing weather this weekend. It was hot bu not like the past week, I hope everyone had a fun and safe Labor day! we had family over  for a BBQ and it was nice to catch up since everyone is so busy we seem to only see each other during a holiday if we are lucky. I was enjoying the weather so I did more work in the yard. I have another busy week a head and more birthdays so that means B-day cards to make. I did a little scrapbook shopping for cards I am going to make It was nice to see all the new product and I was good if you can believe it! LOL I will share photos soon s I am done. I have the Blog hop this month so I need to get crafty to create my project for the hop!
