{ New Years / Birthday }

 I have been a little under the weather the last couple of days and I wanted to share a quick photo of my birthday dinner Sal had for me on Saturday at the Olive Garden, with family and three of my neighbors. It was so much fun and I had no idea everyone was coming. I thought it was just us and my Mom, but he surprised me with everyone who came to celebrate with me. It was the best Birthday ever! I'm so glad I wasn't feeling sick that day so it was so much fun visiting and just spending my 49th birthday with very special people in my life! It was nice to be altogether on my special day! Thank you Sal!

 I also want to wish and thank everyone for all the wonderful comments and all the new friends I have met here in 2012 and for following me and my crazy daily postings this past year here on my blog.

{ Christmas Eve }

 I cant believe tonight is is Christmas Eve. I found this photo of me when I was almost 1 my mom had told me because my Birthday is 4 days after Christmas. We were at my Grandmas house and in the back ground you can see the white flocked Christmas tree with red ornaments and sitting in the couch is 2 of my Aunts. I was laughing so hard when I had seen the plastic covering all the furniture that's what they did back then. Iwas making a funny face when they took my picture. LOL I miss my Grandmas old house and all the fun we had there growing up. The memories will last forever in my heart!

 Here is my First project I created for the hop. I did a Christmas printers tray using creative imagination owl themed Christmas line. I added textured snow to give it a look of fresh snow landed on the tray. I used little Christmas lights and some jingles bells and did each window different

 



 Here is my 2nd quick project I did a little wooden die cut tree I purchased at my local Micheal's craft store. I used to colors of glimmer mist and then I added string of light and some tiny ornaments ans some mini present stickers and a snowflake star on top with a little owl for the tree topper. It was a quick simple project.

{ Lola visit with Missy }

 I just wanted to share a few photos of Lola and our neighbor Patricia and she brought 1 of her dogs to visit Lola for the first time yesterday. They got along great and Lola was a little nervous at first but she was excited to have Missy and a guest here at home. It was so nice of my neighbor to come and have Lola interact with other new dogs and afterwards I too Lola for a walk to Patricia's house to visit with Missy and they had fun running around in their back yard and Lola was a good girl and very calm. Patricia and myself sat in her patio and had some hot tea while the dogs visited and just enjoyed watching them play and explore the yard. I am going to bring Lola back for more visits and she was a good girl visiting in the house with Missy. I was a cold day but we had no rain yet so it was nice enjoying a hot cup of tea and visiting with our neighbors Patricia and Missy.

 This is what my work are looks like today and all weekend. I have been making some holiday cards and working on my projects for the blog hop I am going to be participating the coming weekend!

 It look like another rainy day here in Cali and we have lots to do here and Mom is doing much better now and is getting back to her self but she still needs to take it easy and get her energy back little by little. Lola is just a big bundle of fun and energy and she is getting big (14 lbs now) and we took her this weekend for her first walk since we had a break from the rain with Amy and she just loved it!
We met up with some of our neighbors which Lola loved and her is a photo with our Neighbor Bill who loves her and comes to see her since we got her. My other neighbors girls lover her also and Lola goes crazy when she sees them. Lola did really well for her first walk and before you know it she will be begging us to take her on a walk!

{ Mater Ride }

 Here is a quick Layout I did this morning of our first time in Cars Land @ California Adventure the other night. I was so much fun and we r going back this weekend to see more. We have been so busy the last few months we had not visited Cars Land and we loved what they have done to California's Adventure park! the holidays are the best time to go to Disneyland as it is all deck out for the Christmas season!
 I will take more photos to share and I cant wait to go back! Mater is Sal`s favorite character @ Disneyland so we had to go get on it just like to big kids! It was worth it! This was a simple layout for me but I think it came out great!

 Rain is on its way tonight and this weekend here in Cali and I think we are going to Disneyland and it is so much fun in the rain @ the Disney parks! We have to bundle up tonight and we love this cold weather here during the holidays. I hope everyone has a fun weekend and thanks again for visiting!
 

{ Christmas Blog Hop! }

 There is only 9 days left until my friend Heather Lynn`s Owl Be Home For Christmas Blog Hop, on December 22nd & 23rd I have been so busy this last few week and I have been collecting supplies for my holiday projects and the hop is almost here. I love this time of the year and I cant wait to get started.
 I have to get started on my projects for this hop in the next day or 2. This is my 3 hop with Heather and  there will be 21 stops and lots of prizes and amazing crafters with lots of inspiration along the way! { Car`s Land }

 This past Saturday my Mom told us to go to Disneyland because it was a while since we had gone. She said she is fine now from her surgery and she would watch Lola for us. So we went that evening and we headed on over to California adventure to go see the new Cars land! OMG they did and amazing job! We were in like little kids again because it really felt like we were in Radiator Springs like the movie! The detail was unbelievable and we had to get on at least 1 ride the place was packed and we had so much fun! It was all decorated for Christmas ans the ride we got on was Maters junkyard and we  laughed so much cause Sal and I felt like 2 kids on the ride. One of the workers took a photo of us and I took just a few to share because we had some Christmas shopping to do. When we go back I will take more to share with you.

{ Great Uncles 90th Party }

 December is finally here and here are a few photos of my great Uncles 90th Birthday party this past Sunday. It was so much fun seeing all of our relatives and all of his long time friends. He was so surprised when he saw is B day cake that was made for him by his niece. It was of him and his favorite team the green bay packers. His family from Canada was here from the party and from Wisconsin. He has just one sibling left and his sister was there to celebrate with him. The food was amazing and his only Grandson did a speech abouts his Gramps and all the wonderful memories he has of him. His grandson is 30 years old now and is very proud of his Gramps. Sal created a slide show of Uncle Carl for him from a baby to now and the music in it was Frank Sinatra his favorite music! everyone just loved it and his family could not believe all the photos Sal had used 157 of just him.My Uncle was so happy and it was a wonderful celebration and I was so happy to be a part of it! I am also making a surprise for him and my Aunt for Christmas I will have photos later to share.

 I have to get in the holiday crafty mode because I have projects to create and another Blog Hop I am participating in my friends Heather Lynn`s on the 22nd I will keep you posted and you can checkout the Hop blinkie on my side bar. My Mom is doing wonderful with her recovery from her knee surgery and we have more therapy to do and she is feeling much better now!
